An exciting opportunity to shape the future of Shipley is now open for applications.
We are looking for a special someone with brilliant communication skills, who will be the Town Council’s single point of contact for the town centre. The role will co-ordinate a variety of initiatives aimed at supporting, enhancing and promoting the town centre economy. The successful candidate will attend council, stakeholder and public meetings when matters concerning the town centre are under consideration. They will also be the appointed event manager for larger events held in the town centre, where these are organised by the Town Council. Working as part of the team based in the Town Hall and Kirkgate Community Centre, the postholder will assist in the wide-ranging work of the Town Council to realise our vision for a thriving and sustainable market town.
